Stripped

Layin in this bed. Rest of the world's a little hazey
I try to speak in words. Friends & family think I'm crazy

They tell me I've already gone under. Nurses whisper lies
No surgery has ocurred. Lacking evidence to prove otherwise

They say it's time to go. Wheel me on around
Deformed creatures in white coats tell me to quiet on down

Where's my family now? Now that I'm layed out on a table
Drugged to ease the pain? Drugged so that I'm no longer able

Gnarled grins under dusk masks. I can't prove because I can't see
Clearly hooked to my veins. Something's foreign in my I.V.

Please count down from 10 to 1. Take a deep breath, relax
They all nodded back & forth before the world went black
